I take photographs purely for pleasure, attempting to portray elements of the world in which we live and the living things which share it with us.
Sometimes we are so occupied with everyday demands that we fail to appreciate what is around us - whether it is the interplay of light and shade, the nature, character and thoughts of those around us, or quite simply the detail in flowers and animals.
